Ray Anthony Slaughter was born on May 21, 1970 to the union of Louella Slaughter and Harold Raggs in Chicago, Illinois.

Ray received his education in the Chicago School District. After high school, he worked for his beautiful children while also being a great model to his nieces and nephews!

Being from Chicago, Ray loved the Chicago Bull's Basketball Team and looking well put together in his spare time. We love, miss, and cherish him.

After traveling and enjoying life, Ray was gainfully employed as an assembly line worker for the Nature Bakery until his untimely passing.

Ray passed away May 18, 2023 at home in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ray leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Ray Anthony Slaughter Jr. and Adonte Cortez Riley; four daughters, Sha'Rae' Keianne Williams, Niesha Ealy, Gabrielle Bowman, and Raylissia Slaughter; one sister Darlene Slaughter; eight grandchildren Mason Royal Slaughter, Na'Liyah Carter, Mercedes Bowman, Za'Lyiah Washington, Za'Kyria Washington, Adraun Adonis Jones, Juju Ray Williams Sweetie Rae' Williams and a host of relatives and friends.
