Proverbs 31:29

Regina Ovalee White was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Alvirgia Guillory and Cleopis McNack on July 22, 1963.

Regina White was a beautiful spirit with a genuine warmth that radiated through her smile and infectious laugh. She graduated from the renowned Lincoln High School and attended Oakwood College (now Oakwood University), where she studied Business Administration. During her matriculation, she met her first husband, Darryl Dorton, and from their union she was blessed with three children— Juells, Jamel and Amelia Dorton. Regina treated motherhood as a proud duty and priority. Her mothering style was attentive, nurturing and selfless.

In 2001, Regina wed Eric Lee. The two shared over 20 years of marriage, memories and commitment. Regina gained two wonderful bonus children as a result, whom she loved as her own— Leteesha and Shaun Lee.

After earning her Nursing Degree from Dekalb College, she happily served for 33 years as a pediatric nurse at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Her bubbly personality and natural ability to nurture made her a revered professional and beloved floor nurse amongst her patients and peers. She loved children and would often speak of her desire to own a daycare center in the future.

A few of her interests outside of work included fashion, traveling, card games, and spending quality time with her family & friends. Regina was a seeker and innovative thinker, always pondering on her next journey, creation or family gathering.

To know Regina was to know love and to be in the presence of divine light. Regina lived her life in service of others— with children being the main recipients of her servitude and healing touch here on Earth. A woman who has touched and warmed many hearts— Regina was an angel on Earth, and now with God.

Her memory and presence will be cherished and missed by her husband, Eric; her children, Juells (wife Brittany, son Jonathan), Jamel (wife Lasondra) and Amelia (partner Vanna); her bonus children, Shaun (wife Sicole) and LeTeesha (children Aayden and Khristian); her sisters, Rosetta, Letha and Marvena. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Deborah and Lonnie. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
