Richard Wilson, Sr.'s Obituary
Richard Wilson also known as "Boodlum" 97 of Kansas City, Missouri was born May 22, 1921, to Clarence Wilson and Dorabell Burns Wilson in Wagner, Oklahoma.
He was educated in Wagner, OK working the land with his father until he moved to Kansas City, MO at the age of 21. In Kansas City he was employed by Armour Packing House for 18 years, until they closed. Richard had several other jobs and retired from Golds Foundry.
Richard enjoyed fishing and hunting as a hobbies. He was passionate about baseball and football. He truly enjoyed cooking, singing, dancing and spending time with family and friends.
On Wednesday, August 22, 2018, Richard Wilson, Sr. was called home to our Heavenly Father at the Holmesdale Nursing Home in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Wilson, Kathleen Wilson, Edwina Wilson, Leon Wilson, Bobbie J. Bradley, Cornell Wilson, Rachel Allen, Richard Wilson (twins), Brenda Satterfield and Tommy Lee Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: six daughters, Mildred Smith, Bonita Wilson, Wendy Wilson, Carmer Carr, Patricia Kirkwood (Charles), Debra Craddock; two sons, Kilm and Michael Wilson; a very special granddaughter, Zabrina Wilson and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Wilson will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 30, 2018, at E. S. Eley & Sons Chapel. Burial Brooking Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the church.
