Robert Earl Johnson was born on October 1st 1948 to mother Mary Louise Johnson and father James Newton in Jackson Mississippi.

At the tender age of 16, Robert E. Johnson left Jackson Mississippi and moved to Kansas City, Missouri. Upon arrival to Kansas City, Missouri, he gained employment as a cook. While working as a restaurant chef, he met his wife Sheila Ann Jacobs. Together they conceived three daughters.

Proceeding him in death mother, father, one sister, and two brothers.

He leaves four daughters Tereesa Walker Foster (Darren) Porrtageville MO; Erica Jacobs (Kansas City MO); Virginia Johnson (Independence MO); Carmalita Johnson (Blue Springs MO); Nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

His surviving siblings are listed as follow: Katie Phifer, Betty Willis, Louella Johnson, Alma Warren, Sally Johnson, Tressia Johnson, Bobby Jennings, Willie Johnson, Randolph Johnson, Wilroy Johnson, Luther Davis, Melvin Armstrong and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Johnson will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 3, 2022, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Private disposition.  Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until service time Thursday at the chapel.
