A Time to Be Born : Roberta Lee Tennison was born to the union of Charles and June Scott in Kansas City, Missouri on May 20, 1948, which both parents preceded her in death.   She was the oldest of two children, one sister Pam preceded her in death.

A Time to Live & Love : Roberta was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District where she graduated in 1966.  Roberta was a preschool teacher before her health began to fail.  During her young adult life she met and married Harold Tennison.  To this union two daughters was born Elizabeth and Robin Tennison.

A Time to Laugh : Roberta loved playing cards, singing, watching movies and most of all spending time with her family.

A Time to Die : Roberta gained her wings on August 9, 2020 at her home in Kansas City, Missouri.

A Time to Mourn : Roberta leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters Elizabeth and Robin Tennison, one son-in-law Phillip Burton, five grandchildren Fantasia, Marquise, Domonique, Mykel and Jaylen, two great-grandchildren Vanessa and Josiah.

Graveside services for Mrs. Tennison were held Thursday, August 14, 2020, at Mt. Washington Cemetery.
