Robin Renee' Cody-Colbert was born Nov 14, 1984, in Kansas City, Missouri to Byron and Diana (Payne) Cody.  Robin was educated in Kansas City Public Schools and attended Missouri Western State University after graduating high school.

Robin accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Divine Temple Miracle House of Prayer.

Robin joined in union with J. Tyrell in 2006.  In that union four children were born.

Robin served her life with the love to work.  She shared her talent with known companies: Citi Bank, Wells  Fargo, Encore, Van Ru, and Ford Motor Company.

Robin was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Payne, grandmother, Alberta Payne and Clementine Cody; father, Byron Cody; uncle, Myron Cody; brother, Norris (Chuck) Payne; brother-in-law, Myilan Norton, and stepson, DaSean Colbert.

She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory: two sons, Tyrell and Tyree Colbert; two daughters, J. Tyi'San and Tyi'Shon Colbert; her mother, Diana Cody; one sister Tasha (Payne) Norton; one brother, Cortez Cody (twin); three uncles, Big Tommy, John Jr. and Tommie; four aunts, Sharon (Bo), Linda, Lois (Larry), and Rosie; a sister/friend, Shauna; four nephews; five nieces; and a host of special people in her life whom Robin loved and they loved Robin.

Service for Ms. Cody-Colbert will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Divine Temple Miracle House of Prayer.  Burial XII Gates Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
