Rochelle Renee Williams received a call, she couldn't refuse, in the wee hours of Monday, March 9, 2026. The call was for a reunion with loved ones, long gone, her mother, Ordelia Williams; her father, Harold Washington; four brothers, Roy Williams, Craig Williams, Robert Bogard and Michael Williams. She was no doubt greeted with overwhelming love, laughter, and hugs.

Rochelle was born August 26, 1961, in Kansas City, Missouri, and if you knew her, you called her Roc. And she lived up to her name. Roc was solid, steadfast, and protective. And at the same time, she was gentle, kind, and loving. If you were lucky enough to call her friend, you had a friend indeed. Roc was the life of the party, and she never met a stranger. People fell in love with her instantly and never tired of being in her presence. We'll never forget her jokes and funny stories. Her laughter will forever echo in our hearts.

Roc's spirit has left her ailing body and moved on from the troubles of this world. In her new home, she's breathing easy and she has good knees. She's gone home to glory, this I'm sure of! Weeks before she left, Roc spoke of salvation and the goodness of God. These were statements loved ones had never heard from her before. She was excited to explain she had felt the Holy Spirit. After reflection, we realized she was giving quiet notice, her time was near. But most of all, she wanted us to be comforted because she'd received salvation.

Roc's cherished memory will live forever in the hearts of her loved ones: two sisters, Joyce Williams and Sheila Williams; one brother, Charles Williams; one nephew, Brandon Williams; three nieces, Trinity Bogard, Sherry Tinsley (Craig), and Mychael Rose Ward; and a host of cousins and friends.

Get your rest Roc, till we meet again.
