Rochester Edd, Jr. was born February 3,1944 to Mabel Edd (Dancer) and Rochester Edd, Sr. in Little Rock Arkansas. He was the second oldest of five siblings born to this union. He is preceded in death by two sisters Dorothy Mae Johnson and Carol Edd-Reynolds, two brothers, Robert Edd and Raymond Edd.

Later, his parents relocated Rochester and rest of the family to Kansas City, Missouri.

Rochester received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District, where he attended and graduated from Central Senior High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Army, where he served for two years.

Rochester had several hobbies including shopping at thrift stores, but, his love and passion were in fishing and hunting. There was not a lake you could not find him on. He just like catching the fish. He loved participating in fish fries.

Rochester held several jobs throughout his life: Arm Co Steel and the City of Kansas City. He, later, found an interest in the healthcare industry working as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Shalom and other nursing facilities until his health failed.

He leaves to cherish his memory: His son Rodney Edd (Stacey) of Belton, Mo; Daughter Romona Allen of Kansas City, MO; Grandchildren Ramon, Ramod and Reigan all of Kansas City MO; His special love Sharon Kimber and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
