Rosa Batrice Lassiter's Obituary
Rosa Batrice Lassiter was born July 6, 1948, to Samuel and Ester Lassiter in Chesapeake, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Ester Lassiter; her only son, Charlie Lassiter "Man"; brothers, Charlie Lassiter, Samual Lassiter, Ernest Lassiter and Kelvin Lassiter; sister Vera Lassiter, Marilyn Jean.
She graduated from Crestwood High School in 1969, and joined the United States Army in February 1970. She received an honorable discharge in July 1970.
Rosa worked for BG Service Solution in Kansas City, Missouri from 1979, until her health begin to fail in 2000.
She opened her heart and home to many families and was a true and loving person.
Rosa passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. She will greatly missed.
She leaves behind: on daughter, DeEtta Lassiter; brothers, William Lassiter of Norfolk, VA, Ronald Lassiter and Virgil Lassiter; sister, Belinda Lassiter of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Terrance Carter, Shakeia Lassiter, Kierra Lassiter, Charlesetta Lassiter, Shavon Lassiter, Davon Lassiter and Jamillah Pauley-Bey; great-grandchildren, Shamar Lassiter, Shamarion Lassiter Cy'mari Lassiter, KY Lassiter and KY'mani Lassiter; special love ones, David Parker and Shelista Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.
Services for Ms. Lassiter will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 9, 2018, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
