Rosa Willene Williams was born June 28, 1941, in Kansas City, MO to Freddie Jacoway Sr. and Ernestine Finley Jacoway.  At the time of her birth, her mother was a bullet maker, while her father served in the Second World War.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Williams, son, Henry L. Bausby, mother, Ernestine Noble, two brothers, Fred Jacoway and Randy Jacoway.

She began her early education at the Dunbar and Booker T. Washington Elementary schools, R T Coles Junior High and finishing with a GED.

At an early age Rosa became the wife of Ronald "Billy" Bausby, Sr.; five children were born of this union, Cheryl Lynn, Ronald "Ronnie" Lee, Jr., Kimberly "Kim" Rochelle, Henry "Brother" Lewis 3 ^rd , deceased, Dwayne Anthony.  The marriage ended in divorce.  She later married Leonard Williams, Sr. December 10, 1966, a union that continued until his death in 2015.

In 1962, at the age of twenty two, eager to continue her education and to build a better life for herself and children, she enrolled in Manual's Vocational School, learning the trade of cosmetology.  Upon graduation she received her license and worked for funeral homes and private salons.

The turning point in Rosa's life came when she finished an Associate's Degree from Penn Valley Community College, a Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate Degrees at the Heart of America Theological Seminary and Bible College, in Theology.  She became an Ordained Minister and would go on to get a Bachelor Degree from UMKC in Liberal Arts.

She was the proud grandmother of five, LaVontae Brandon, Robert Gray 4 ^th , Ronald "Trey" Bausby, Jessica Gray (Juan) Vasquez and Terrell Maples and two great-grandchildren, Imani Bausby and Jonathan Vasquez.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her father, Freddie (Patricia) Jacoway; children, Cheryl Lynn Bausby, Ronald Lee Bausby, Jr., Kimberly (Robert) Gray, Dwayne Anthony Bausby; four step children, Linda Williams Scott, Terry Williams, Leonard Williams, Jr. and Gail Williams; sisters, Mayetta Walker, Joyce Jacoway, Donna Scott, Cynthia, Shirley, Patricia, Deborah Ann and Annette; brothers, Gerren Jacoway, Billy Doyle; very special friends, Bob and Rachel Helenbuck and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins friends and neighbors.

Services for Mrs. Williams will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Kingdom Word Ministries.   Burial 9:00 A.M. Monday, Leavenworth National Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
