Rosemary Fraker was born on September 19, 1938, to the union of Thomas Hogan and Mary Elizabeth Patterson in Kansas City, Missouri.  She was the oldest child born to this union. She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, James Hogan; beloved sister, Judy Pierce; two brothers-in-law, Herbert Fraker and Gary Miller; two sisters-in-law, Edna Fraker and Nettie Hardy; two stepchildren, Ronald Fraker and Everett Fraker; two grandchildren, Michelle Fraker and Jonathan Sparks.

Rosemary received her early education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. After high school, she and Page T. Brooks were united in marriage. Three children were born to this union; Tom, Ricky and Norma Brooks.  On May 8, 1967, Rosemary was united in marriage to Marvin D. Fraker.

Grandma Lula Millard and Grandma Mary Hogan lived with Marvin and Rosemary Fraker until he passed. Also, brother, James Hogan and sister, Judy Pierce lived with Rosemary after Marvin Fraker's death in 1998.

Rosemary worked as a nurse's aide for many years at the Downtown Hospital and Glennon Place Nursing Home.  She loved cats and dogs, watching wrestling and soap operas, country music and Christmas; even the dogs and cats had their own stocking filled with goodies for Christmas.

Rosemary was stepmom to Marvin Fraker's six children from a previous marriage to the late Bonnie Bell; Everett, Ron, Janet, Phyllis, Paul and Cliff.

She was grandma Fraker to twenty-one grandchildren, Sara, David, Michael, Kathy, Becky, Tina, Mary, Robert, Timothy, and Matthew Brooks, Mallory, Everett, and Tammy Fraker, Jimmy, Jason and Julie Sparks, Derek and Danny Williams.

In 2017, her health started failing and she moved in with Tom and Sherri Brooks in 2018.

Rosemary passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City.  Rosemary will always be remembered in our hearts.

Services for Mrs. Fraker will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 3, 2021, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Forest Hill Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
