Rosie Mae Craver was born in Ellis County of Waxahachie, TX November 1, 1950, to the parentage of Mearrion James Waters and Mary Lee Jennings Waters. She was the oldest of 7 siblings. Rosie received her education from Oak Lawn Elementary and Turner High School while in Waxahachie. 1964, the family moved to Fort Worth, TX. The family became members of the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She later completed her education with a GED.

January 26, 1968, Rosie was united in marriage to Mack Williams. To this union was born one son Jerome Mack Williams and one daughter Yolanda Yvette Williams. This union was later dissolved. She then met Joe Craver and bore another son Anthony Tyrone Williams.

In the year of 1978, there was a calling on her life. Yielding, she accepted Jesus Christ and became born again. She attended different churches before becoming a faithful member of Bethlehem COGIC under the leadership of Elder James David Lewis. Under this leadership she grew and became a great Teacher of the Word of God. Elder Lewis joined Rosie and Joe Craver in marriage on August 4, 1980.

With a warning from God through a dream, with urgency she moved her family to Liberty, MO in December of 1982. Once again in search for a home church she attended First Baptist Church of Liberty and then the United Pentecostal Church. In May 1986, Missionary Ethel Harris from St. Louis, MO came to Liberty to reopen Humphrey Temple COGIC. Rosie along with her mother Mary and sister Ruby joined Ethel and her sister Tina Harris of Liberty, in daily prayer for a pastor and for the growth of the church. Rosie was a faithful member of the church under the leadership of Elder Buford Butler. On fire for the Lord, she was called to be a Missionary and served God's people with a bold yet gentle spirit. She worked in the church as a Sunday School Teacher and as a District Missionary. After 27 years of service she was led to Perfecting of the Saints in July 2013, to prepare for ministry in the end times. Rosie was known as a mighty prayer warrior and intercessor. She never hesitated to intercede on someone's behalf. She displayed God's love through her kindness, patience, longsuffering, gentleness, and goodness. She exuded joy and peace despite her circumstances.

Rosie was an avid reader and loved learning new things. She was a dedicated hard worker. During her career she worked at William Dickies as a Press Operator and a Machine Operator at Injection Molders in Fort Worth, TX. In MO she worked in a Nursing Home as a Cook, Laundry Worker, and Nurse's Aide. She retired from a wire harness company in 2013, due to health issues. In 2013, she underwent surgery for a brain tumor and a second surgery in 2014. While in the hospital following her second brain surgery she suffered a stroke. With a slow decline in health she became bedridden in 2019.   On August 11, 2019, Rosie Mae Craver went home to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mearrion J. Waters and Mary L. Dukes; brother, Baby Waters; niece Tiashecia Rogers; and brother-in-law, Joseph Franklin.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her husband of thirty-nine years, Joe Craver of the home.; sons, Jerome and Anthony Williams (Shonta Beasley) of Independence, MO; daughters, Yolanda Cooper (Paul); five siblings, Mearrion Waters Jr. of KCMO, Katie Franklin (Connie Joe) of Fort Worth, TX, Patsy Beauvoir (Jocelyn) of KCMO; Ruby Franklin (Joseph  deceased) of Liberty, MO, David Dukes of KCMO; 18 grandchildren, Kendra Manuel (Terrence), Kelesa Brodkin (Lorne), Michelle Pojah (Jeremiah), Keisha Williams, Ashley Williams, Kaneisha Bailey (Fred), Mack Williams (Kayla), Keyonna Woods, Ciandra Williams, Anthony Williams II, Niyah Williams, Tay`Shon Williams, Immanuel Peterson, Primalton Peterson, Derrille Peterson, Mar`Tanae Bynum, Ta`Ray Johnson, and Ray`Shon Johnson; thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.

Services for Mrs. Craver will be held 11:30 A.M. Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.  Burial New Hope Cemetery.  Friends may call for 9:30 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
