Sergeant Eddie Dean Armstead was born March 7, 1957, in Parkdale, Arkansas to the union of the late Willie J. Armstead and Dasie L. Armstead. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1975. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamara Y. Bables; sister, Ella M. Gross; and brothers, Elmo J. Armstead and Glen Armstead.

Sgt. Eddie Dean Armstead was a caring and gentle person who worked for Tension Envelopes for over 25 years and was in the National Guard for over 20 years.

He loved his family and was a giving person. He was always ready to joke, laugh, and love. He was a foodie, always able to fix items, give advice, always happy, and a lover of life. He touched many people and never complained.

Sgt. Eddie fulfilled his purpose on Monday, October 28, 2024.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his children: Roderick D. Armstead (Benton, AR), Tamika L. Bables (Kansas City, MO), Terrance R. Bables (Independence, MO) and Milan E. McDaniel (Conway, AR); his brothers and sisters; Ether Stephens, Catherine Smith, Willie Trice, James Armstead, Gwenzetter (Phillip) Townsend, James Armstead, John Armstead, Steve Armstead, Tenia (Dion) Williams; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; special friend Theresa Thornton; dearest friend Beatrice Dunn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
