Stacy Lynn Slaughter's Obituary
Stacy Lynn Slaughter was born January 16, 1990, to Lennie Parnell and Tracy Slaughter. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Thelma Knowles.
He attended Lee Summit Public Schools and graduated from Lees Summit North High School. Stacy worked various jobs in the food service industry and obtained many certifications in the warehouse industry including OSHA and Forklift Operator. Stacy enjoyed movies, music, video games and sports. His favorite teams included Chiefs football and Duke Basketball. Stacy enjoyed life, always had a smile on his face and no matter what he was going through always had love in his heart for others.
Stacy departed this life on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Center Point Medical Center in Independence, MO.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his mother, Lennie Parnell (Gene); his father, Tracy Slaughter (Mimi); three brothers; Tracy Slaughter II and Casey Slaughter of the city and Gene Parnell III of North Carolina; two sisters LaJuanna Anderson of the city and Genaé Parnell of Hawaii; paternal grandmother Mary Slaughter of the city, one niece, Bailee Slaughter and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Services for Mr. Slaughter will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 27, 2018, at Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church. Private Disposition. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the church.
