Steven Anthony Parker was born at Wheatley-Provident Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri on May 2, 1951, to Edna and Audrey Parker both of which preceded in death.  He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO.

He graduated from Paseo High School in 1969, and enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1971, and trained as Security Police.  At one time he was stationed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma where he met and married Gloria Webster of Lawton, OK and out of that union, Marlon A. Parker was born.

Steven worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, GSA and La Farge during his lifetime.

Steven Anthony Parker departed this life on Thursday September 5, 2019.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Edna & Clarence Lampkin (stepfather); son, Marlon A. Parker;

grandchildren, Zebulon Scott, Marlon A. Parker, Jr.; siblings, Essie M. Rhyne, Toni Parker, Clinton W. Parker and Clarence R. Lampkin and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Mr. Parker will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 16, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Burial Leavenworth National Cemetery.  Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the chapel.
