Supreen Patricia Holiway, was born Supreen Patricia Goodlow on February 13, 1932, to the union of Dan Goodlow and Revenia Harris-Goodlow. Her parents and grandparents preceded her in death. Her siblings, Dan Goodlow, Henry Goodlow, Jesse Goodlow, Wilbur Goodlow, Maurice Goodlow and Lula Goodlow-Boyd, all preceded her in death. Her grandchildren, Stephanie Goodwin-Kelley, Iman Holiway and Sherita Holiway also preceded her in death.

Educated in the Kansas City, MO. School District, she attended R. T. Coles and Lincoln High School.  Supreen married Major M. Holiway. To this union five children were born, Denise Holiway, Michael Holiway, David Holiway, Karen Holiway and Paul Holiway. Her husband, sons David and Michael preceded her in death.

Supreen never remarried, and as a widow dedicated her life to taking care of her children and grandchildren. She worked many years at the IRS and retired from there. She was selfless in her giving and would feed anyone who came to her home. She was known in the neighborhood as "Mama Holiway". She was a wonderful cook, who made the best German chocolate cake in addition to her other great dishes.

Supreen, confessed her love and faith for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her love for God, was shown in her actions, by the unconditional love, generosity, and kindness she freely gave not only to her family, but to many people. Though she is no longer physically with us, her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those she impacted.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her son, Paul Holiway (Rita); her daughters, Denise Holiway and Karen Louis (Holiway); her nieces and nephews who affectionately called her "Auntie Pat"; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
