Terri Lynn Lee was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Joseph and Ola Williams Lee, She was the second of two children.

At the tender age of 8, Terri began her faith journey, accepting Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She joined Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Kansas City, Kansas.

She attended Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri. Terri chose her own path—earning her G.E.D. and later her Medical Assistant License. Over the course of more than 40 years, she served faithfully in healthcare as a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomist, Dialysis Technician, and most recently, as an In-home Caregiver for those in need of daily assistance. She lovingly referred to this as "End of Life Care"—work she held dear because it allowed her to bring peace, dignity, and comfort to clients in their final season of life. Terri often shared how these moments—listening to stories, offering encouragement, and preparing families—brought her great fulfillment and spiritual peace.

Terri was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lee.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Ola Lee; her devoted sister, Chandra Payne; her beloved sons, Tremelle (Tameka) Lee and Chauncey Hatten; her seven grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones whose lives were blessed by her presence.

Rest peacefully, Terri—beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend, and faithful servant.
