Theodore Roosevelt Bacon, Jr. was born on December 31, 1932 in Pickens, Mississippi.  He was the 5 ^th child of 11 born into the union of the late Theodore Roosevelt Bacon Sr., and Lucy Foster.

His wife Novella Ruth Bacon,  his sons, Terry Roosevelt Cline, Sr, Sylvester Al Cline, and Steven Maurice Bacon, six siblings, Alberta, Woodrow, Willie, George, Ida, and Pearlene,  two grandchildren Nadine Bacon and Johnelle Pace preceded him in death.

Roosevelt worked over 40 years as a butcher at Epstein Kosher Market in Kansas City, MO.  He was a devoted family man, loved to play cards and was a big fan of baseball, especially the Royals.   He knew the Lord and passed away peacefully on September 22, 2020 at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Anita Carter (Willie) and Yolanda Rochelle Pace of KC, KS., daughter in-law, Rickea Bacon of Avon, IN, 12 grandchildren and  12 great grandchildren,  his siblings Mary (James) Green, Henry Bacon, Rosie Wiley, and Jerry (Hazel) Bacon and a host of relatives and friends.

Services for Mr. Roosevelt Bacon will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel.  Private Disposition.  Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until service time Friday at the chapel.
