Theresa B. Williams , known to everyone as Tina , was born on March 2, 1944 to Josephine and Lloyd Gunn in Kansas City, MO.  She was the 2nd of 3 children born to this world.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons. Terrance and Marc Williams.

She graduated from Central High school in 1962.

Tina was a member of The Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Roy Elmore.  She served as Treasurer, Usher, and Cook.

She had amazing ability to draw young people to her and they loved her. She enjoyed and developed lifelong relationships with those she helped raise.

She was gainfully employed, for 39 years, with the Department of Agriculture from the time she graduated high school until the time of her retirement.

She loved cooking, fishing, and entertaining her family. The greatest gift of all was her faithfulness for being there for her family. If you needed Tina, she was there whether she would have to take the bus to you or how ever she could get there. You knew Tina would be there.

Tina transition from labor to reward on November 2, 2023.

A special thanks to her daughter and grandchildren for the extra love and care they provided to her in her last days.

Tina leave to cherish her memories: daughter, Cherise Williams; son, Willie Earl Williams; grandchildren, Lloyd, Dominique, Damein, ChaTeah, Bridgette, Nekesha, Terrence, Alexie; and her sister, Portia Gunn.
