Toni Lynn Anderson was born August 5, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born the eldest daughter of Georgia Bryant-Thompson and Walter Thompson. Growing up Toni was nicknamed "Tiger" by her beloved father yet in later years introduced herself as "Sweet T".

After becoming a graduate of Paseo High School, Toni moved to Lindsborg, Kansas to study Liberal Arts at Bethany College. She later returned to Kansas City marrying Glenn Anderson of Chester, Pennsylvania with who she met while attending Bethany College.

Toni returned to Kansas City where she dabbled in various positions in the jewelry sales industry. She would later venture out into other career paths, one of which included her becoming an educator specializing in Early Childhood Education. She loved children and took great pride in teaching them. After leaving the Kansas City School District, Toni found her niche as a Dietary Nutritionist for the University of Missouri Extension (4-H). She was very passionate about this career because it allowed her to teach and help others better their lives. Toni, being a Jack of all trades, would continue to try her hand in many other professions.

Ton i was an avid speed reader and participant of the Performing Arts. She was very gifted in her vocal abilities, singing in several music groups in her youth and throughout her early adult life. Singing was Sweet T's favorite past-time and she loved a good game of dominoes or bid whist.

Toni was a devout warrior of God and a devoted mother to her daughters, who she called her "Precious Jewels." She would boast about how her daughters were her greatest gift's and accomplishment. She knew no strangers and would share her strong belief of God and his word with anyone willing to listen.

Toni passed away on August 8, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital with family by her side. She was 70, receiving her three-scores and ten. Her parents preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Gabrielle "Gabby" Anderson, Lisa Horn (Willie) and Justina LaFrance all of Kansas City, Missouri; two sisters, Sharon Thompson and Robin Thomas both of Kansas City, Missouri; one brother, Eric Thompson of Egan, Minnesota; and three grandchildren, Lena and Liya Horn and Demeire LaFrance; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
