Troy McCon was born on April 11,1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, to the union of Ernestine and J. L. McCon.

Troy submitted his life to Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age.

Troy was educated in in the Kansas City, Missouri School District.

After graduation from high school, he moved to Indianapolis, Indiana.

All of his super sis/sons, turkeys, and knuckleheads know that Troy McCon was a man of endless compassion who often prioritized others' well-being despite his own demanding responsibilities. His ability to connect with people from all walks of life was uncanny. His composure, strength and steadfast support made him a beacon of strength for his family and served as an inspiration for a generation of many young individuals.

Undeterred by challenges, Troy ALWAYS maintained a fearless spirit. He was a machine that only stopped after a meal! His profound impact on those he connected with, including his family and friends, is immeasurable. He never failed to integrate spirituality into his life and shared his beliefs effectively in his own unique way with everyone.

He would urge everyone to embrace love, connection, support, and to prioritize faith, creating a world where love and compassion are more important than money and materials possessions.

Troy entered into eternity on December 16, 2024, at home.

Troy leaves to cherish his precious memories 3 sons, Michael Danahy (Candace), T.J. McCon, and Jason McCon; daughter, Amber Wesley (L.C.); 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter, 3 brothers, Ezra McCon, J. L. McCon, and John McCon; one sister, Darlene Mynes (Keith); and a host of other family and friends.
