Trudy Maxine King-Elliott was born May 4, 1947, in Camden, Arkansas to the union of Mary and Clinton Elliott, both of whom preceded her in death.

She moved to Kansas City, MO at three years of age.  Trudy was a lifelong resident of Kansas City with the exception of living in Omaha, NE for a few years.

Trudy received her education at Manual High School and later earned her GED.  She spent most of her career working for the government and later enjoyed driving school bus.  She later returned to work with the government and remained there until the Lord called her home on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.

Trudy had a beautiful zest for life. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  She also loved long distance shopping trips with her sister.  She made everyone around her smile.

She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory: two daughters, Evonda L. Beachem and LaTesha L. King; three grandchildren, Andrea L. Beachem, Aricka M. Beachem and Marc A. Beachem, Jr.; three great-grandchildren, Lyric Sapho, Lennox Sapho and Arya Cook; two sisters, Arlene Elliott (deceased), and Cynthia Patterson; four brothers, Odell Elliott, Prentiss Elliott both of Omaha, NE, Alvin Charles Elliott and Larry Elliott and a host of in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services for Ms. King-Elliott will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 21, 2021, at New Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church.   Friends may call from1:00 P.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
