Turner Davis was born October 9, 1929, in Kansas City, Missouri to Mary King and Roy Davis.  He accepted Christ in his life at an early age. He attended Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church until his health begin to fail.

He attended and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1947.  After graduation, he joined the United States Army.  Upon leaving the military, Turner worked for General Motors and then the United States Postal Service where he retired after 26 years.

On March 9, 1971, Turner and Rosa were joined in marriage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond Davis and John W. Davis both of Kansas City, Missouri, two sons, Ronald Jones of Kansas City, Missouri and Kevin Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Rosa Davis; a brother Albert Davis of KCMO; two daughters, Denise Brown of KMO and Angela Hall of Las Vegas, Nevada; a very special sister-in-law, Marguerite Wake and a host grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Service for Mr. Davis will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 3, 2020, at E. S. Eley & Sons Chapel.  Burial Leavenworth National Cemetery.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Monday at the chapel.
