Vanessa Ann Bogart was born on February 10, 1965 to Andrew and Ethel Bogart in Forrest City, Arkansas. At an early age, Vanessa accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.

Vanessa attend school in Kansas City MO, where she took culinary class at Manual and obtained her diploma at East High School. She had the biggest smile, warmest hugs, and a giving spirit.

Vanessa loved to sing and cook. People often bragged about her lasagna and told her "she seasoned chicken to the bone." Her baked desserts, especially her cheesecake, were also a family favorite.

Vanessa is proceeded in death by both parents, Andrew Bogart, Sr and Ethel Lynch; three brothers, Mark Bogart, Darwin Bogart, Sr. and Albert Fuller; one sister, Thelma Handson; and one nephew, Marc Bogart.

Vanessa leaves behind two sisters, Shirley (AC) Levy and Bonita Roundtree of Kansas City, MO; and two brothers, Terrance Fuller of Kansas City MO and Andrew (Sunshine) Bogart, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV.

She leaves behind three daughters, Ronisha (Jonathan) Amerison, RayShawn Bogart and Rometta Horn all of Kansas City MO; 5 grandchildren, Rhaya, Raleah, Ria, Jonathan Jr, and Jaxson all of Kansas City, MO; a bonus son, Marcus Berry of Kansas City, MO; and bonus granddaughter, Marcyus Phillips; two God-children, Ebed-Melech Jackson Jr and Mia R. Slaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Services for Ms. Bogart will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, November 19, 2022 at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private disposition.  Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time Saturday at the Chapel.
