Velda Robins was born June 23rd, 1958, the third of seven children. Born to Isom Murphy and Barbara Collins.

Velda Robins is preceded in death by her parents Isom Murphy and Barbara Collins, husband Jesse Robins, sister Dakota Collins, and brother Otis Murphy.

Velda Robins attended DA Holmes and graduated from Central High School in 1976. She went to college at UMKC.

Velda Robins met the love of her life, Jesse Robins, in 1981. They were married in 1984 and raised 4 beautiful children together. They were in a loving marriage until Jesse's passing in 2020.

Velda worked at UMKC for 21 years as a building manager. She retired in 2020. Velda spent the rest of her days as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Creating lots of loving, beautiful, and fantastic memories with all of us.

Velda started her relationship with Crist at an early age and praised Him in her everyday life.

Velda leaves behind four beautiful children David Robins and (Telicia), Andrea Key, Veronica Kelly, Jestina Robins and bonus daughter Stephanie Bolling. Her Sisters Ida Barnes, Donna Collins, Lauraqueta Collins, and Luvinia Tolson. Grandchildren Aben, Tony, Devin, Nyla, Samorea, DJ, SyrMicheal, Myles, Zoey, Jere. miah, Eli and Vada. Five great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.
