Veronica Ann Seats, age 61, of Kansas City, MO was born June 13, 1959, in August, Arkansas to Era B Lindsey and Lillie Lindsey. "Ronnie" as she was affectionately call was the second of five children. Both parents and a brother preceded her in death.

Ronnie attended Kansas City Missouri Public Schools and graduated with honors from Paseo High School with the class of 1977.  After graduation she attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, MO for two years.  She returned home, found a job at Rothenbur as a secretary until 1999, when they closed their doors.  In 1999, she was employed at Ogden Leasing as a secretary until her health began to fail in 2012.  Ronnie battled cancer twice, losing her leg and kept fighting.

The biggest kid, sweetest person that never met a stranger and always had that pretty smile on her face.  Ronnie had many passions: family, friends, traveling, gardening (vegetables and flowers) crocheting sewing, grilling, cooking and baking.

Veronica departed this earthly life on Friday, March 5, 2021.

She is survived by: her sister, Linda Lindsey; two brothers, Maurice Lindsey and Michael Lindsey; a nephew, Michael Lindsey; two nieces, Tamara Vann and Amber Lindsey all of the city; three great-nephews, Tyler Lindsey, Alandus Lindsey and D J Vann; two great-nieces, Amorah Lindsey and Micha Lindsey; two aunts, Neotrise Johnson and Poniace Paige of the city; her life partner, Leland Tigner; best friend, Nina Butner and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.  She will truly be missed.

Services for Ms. Seats will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 20, 2021, at E. S .Eley &Sons Funeral Chapel.  Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the chapel.
