Victoria "Vicky" Lee Lona Henderson "nee Hill",  age 73, of Kansas City, MO passed away August 20, 2020.  Vicky was the daughter of Cleo Stanga Hill Cedar and Charles Curtis Hill.  Vicky graduated from Redemptorist Catholic High school. She married Charles O. Lona.  They had two sons.

After graduating, Vicky began a long career as a retail buyer, which took her to Jacksonville, FL, Buffalo, NY and finally back to Kansas City, MO.  During her time in Jacksonville, she met the love of her life, William "Buzz" Norman Henderson.  Her retail career moved her north to Buffalo, NY. Within the span of a year, Buzz moved north, and she remarried shortly after his arrival on August 6, 1986.  There she began a career as an assistant manager at Burlington Coat factory, where she worked for 17 years.  Throughout that time, she made her way back to Kansas City, MO, where she was able to retire at the age of 62.

Vicky is survived by: her two sons, Christopher Lona and Timothy Lona; sisters, Mary Elizabeth (Hill) Finnell and Kathleen Ann (Hill) Sharkey; grandchildren, London Lona, Tony Lona, Meredith Lona, Timmy Lona, Annalisa Lona and Natalie Lona; great-grandchildren, London Lona, Alex Lona, Cecilio Lona and Livia Lona and a host of relatives and friends.

Celebration of life Services will be held 12:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020, at  Saint Paul Presbyterian Church, 2910 Victor St Kansas City, MO. Those who cannot attend, can view services on Facebook.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until service time Saturday at the church.
