Voncile Jones, the sixth child of six children was born April 10, 1927 to Sam and Ora Oliver in Menifee, AR.  Voncile received Christ in her life at an early age.

Voncile moved to St Louis, MO for a short time, before going to Kansas City, MO, where she worked in an egg factory, and at the laundry folding shirts.  Kansas City is where she met the love of her life Albert Jones. They were married Sept 8, 1950.  During this union they had four kids. Even though the union ended in 1973, they remained good friends.  Voncile decided to open a daycare in 1962, and later named it Renee's Day Care, she decided to retire and closed the day care in May 1989 but continue to work with her rental property.  Voncile was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher in the Junior Department.  She loved her family, but she also had a love of flowers, dancing, sports and traveling.  In 2017 Voncile moved to Des Moines, to live with her daughter until her death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, friend/father of her kids Albert Jones,  two sons Stanley E and Brenard L Jones, two brothers John and Nathaniel Oliver, three sisters Ethel Mae Day, Essie Oliver, and Lorraine Smith, and one step grandson Charles Mac Cowles.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son Maurice Jones of Kansas City, MO, one daughter Yvonne Jones-Cowles (Millie) of Des Moines, IA.  Daughter in law Adele Jones, of Kansas City, MO. Seven grandchildren Ronnell Jones of Dallas, TX, Genesis  Blanks and Brandon Jones of Kansas City, MO, Jon Hall of  Las Vegas, NV,  Angela Rule (Nick) and Jamal Jones of Des Moines, IA, and Charles Jones of Guam.  Four great grandchildren Isaac and Alexus Kelly, Madison Byers of Kansas City, MO, and Kenna Voncile Rule of Des Moines, IA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.
