Vonsella Leigh Harvey was born April 4, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri at Queen of The World Hospital, the 3rd child to the union of  Vonsella McClinton Harvey and Raleigh Leroy Harvey. Both of her parents and a God daughter, Ebony Duncan preceding her in death.

Vonsella accepted Christ into her life at an early age and was a member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. She was the 3rd child of five children.

Vonsella attended D. A. Holmes Elementary school and Central Jr. High school and graduated from Southwest. High school. Vonsella is the mother of three devoting, loving and caring Women.

Vonsella was a very strong-willed person who exhibited great strength while in a battle of an illness called Scleroderma. She truly earned her stairs to Heaven.

Vonsella worked for and retired from Blue Cross & Blue Sheild after many years of service. During her time of employment, she earned several awards. Those who knew Vonnie would say she was a loving, dedicated and loyal person anyone could depend on. Because she was named after our mother, if you addressed her as Ms. Harvey she might not answer you or if she did she would might say (Ms. Harvey is my mother, call me Vonnie).

Vonsella touched many lives, she will definitely be missed. Vonsella leaves to mourn her and cherish the time we were given with her legacy, her children, Danielle Harvey-Lieto (Herman), DeLisa Harvey (Angel Martin), and DeAnna Harvey (Darrell Parks); three sisters, Cheryl Harvey-Perkins (Robert), Lisa Harvey, Amy Harvey-Bradley; one brother, Raleigh Harvey; a beautiful host of grandchildren, aunts, cousins, God's children, friends.
