Walter Hill, Jr . "Sugarman" was born March 2,1965, to Helen L. Ewing and Walter Hill, Sr. in Conway, Arkansas. He was the oldest of three children. He is preceded in death by his parents, two Uncles Lloyd Everette and James Everette.

His parents moved Walter to Kansas City at the age of five. He received his early education in the Kansas City, Missouri School District.  He graduated from Excelsior Spring Job Corp.  Upon graduation, Walter worked for the City of Kansas City, Missouri Water Department until he retired.

Walter loved riding motorcycles and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. He was also a loving husband and father and big brother.

Walter leaves to cherish his memory: his wife of 20 years Ronette Hill; one son LaVance Hill, III; five daughters Brandy of Boonville, MO, Ashley Carter of Blue Springs, MO, Montia Melton-Hill, Astacia D. McKinnis, Jameillia J. McKinnis, all of KCMO; two sisters Mekell G. Everette and Rachell Ewing; six grandchildren; stepfather Alfred Ewing of Blue Springs, and a host of relatives and friends.
