Wayne C. Sellers, I was born July 7th, 1942 in Wichita, Kansas to the union of Rosalind and Melvin Berry.

Wayne was educated in the Wichita Public School system.  Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and later transferred to the U.S. Marine Corp.  After his service to the United States, Wayne returned to Wichita, Kansas where he got married.  To this union, two children were born, Stephanie and Wayne, II.

Wayne graduated from Wichita State University, he then moved his family to Kansas City, Missouri where his third child Melody was born.  Once settled in Kansas City, Wayne started his own Certified Public Accounting firm.  He later opened two additional offices in Washington, D.C. and Wichita, Kansas.

Wayne was a very well-known and respected businessman earning him the honor of Small Business Man of the Year.  Through changes of life, Wayne was divorced and later entered into a civil partnership to which his daughter, Ashton, was born.

Wayne enjoyed the great outdoors in all manners.  He was an avid snow skier, water skier, and loved taking his boat to the lake where he would enjoy many activities with his loved ones.

He departed this life on Wednesday, October 6th, 2021.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Stephanie Sellers (Calo), Melody Harton (Kenneth), and Ashton Rose Sellers; and one son, Wayne C. Sellers II (Irene), 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

Services for Mr. Sellers will be held 11:00 A. M. Monday, October 11, 2021, at Saint Augustine's Episcopal Church.  Private disposition.
