Willi Tyne Hyenow , an AMT Engineer and resident of Kansas City, Missouri, died on May 19, 2025, at the age of 41, at Alpine Breeze Health and Wellness.

Willi is survived by his parents, James B. Hyenow and Zaleh A. Hyenow, also his six brothers, and three sisters.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Romeo Tyne; his grandmothers and grandfathers.

Willi was born in Liberia on August 13, 1983, to James Hyenow and Zaleh Hyenow.  He graduated from the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in 2012 with a degree in Technical Engineer.

He was often spending  his spare time researching topics of interest or reading a book.  Willi loved driving and never turned down a good road trip.  He had incredible patience and always made time to help others.

He was the best jokester in the family.  Always had a smile on his face.  His wisdom, his strength, his unwavering support…these are the gifts he leaves behind in the hearts of those he loved.  His memory lives on with us.
