William M. Baugh, 76, of Grandview  Missouri, passed away March 17, 2021 at his home.  He was born in Goochland County, Virginia on November 27, 1944 to the union of Mack D. Baugh and Reacie Barrett Baugh. To this union, William was the 7th child of 15 children. He was preceded in death by his parents; Mack D Baugh and Reacie Barrett Baugh, sister Beverly and brothers Gary, Mack Edward, and Jim.

He graduated from Cardinal HS in Eldon, Iowa in 1963. After graduating High School, William joined the United States Airforce.

William was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri, where he served as a Deacon and member of the church choir. He pursued a career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture for 35 years, where he retired at the age of 55. In his free time, he loved to sing, to work in the yard and to put a smile on people's faces.

William joined in marriage with Marian Geneva Flowers on June 27, 1965 at Second Baptist Church in Ottumwa Iowa. The couple had 3 children (Gerald, Geneva and Shannon).

William is survived by his wife Marian, son Gerald (Ottumwa), daughter Geneva and husband Bernard Harris (North Carolina) and daughter Shannon (Grandview MO), grandchildren Porscha, Jasmine, Gerald William, Dhajja and Mylia, along with  5 great grandchildren, 6 brothers, 1 foster brother, 4 sisters and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, Monday March 29, 2021 at 11 a.m.
