William Robert White, Sr., 95, was born to the union of Virgil Roosevelt White and Mary Margaret Austin White on July 13, 1930, in Franklin, Kansas.  He was the sixth of twelve children.

Both parents, 5 brothers, Roosevelt Q. White, Harold L. White, Charles B. White, Ralph E. White, and Phillip L. White; 2 sisters, Geneva M. Summey and Virginia V. Card; his first wife, Shyrlye D. White; and 1 grandchild, Camille M. Matches; all preceded him in death.

Billy, as he was lovingly called, lived in Pittsburg, Kansas, KC, and LA, before returning to the KC area.

Billy was married to Shyrlye D. White. To this union, two children were born. The marriage was later dissolved. The second marriage was to Jacqueline White. To this union, two children were born. The marriage was later dissolved. Later, he was married to his loving and devoted wife, Bonnie J. Akins White. To this union, two children were born.

Billy was Educated in the Kansas City, Missouri School District and graduated from Lincoln High in 1947. He was a Mason. He worked for US Royal Tire Company in LA and retired 30years from Ford Motors of Clay Como, Missouri. He did two years in the United States Army and served in Germany as well.

Billy was a member of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory, the love of his life, Mrs. Bonnie J. Akins-White; two sons, William R. White Jr. (Karen) and Tyrone D. Anderson ( Ayanna); four daughters, Cheryll D. White Perkins (Dale), Geneva White Jones, Cynthia White, and Camille A. Akins; four sisters, La Doris Jones (Donald), Mary Harris, Ina White, and Flora J. Burris; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
