Mr. Willie Lee Grayson was born in Plattsburg, Missouri on December 31, 1925, to Elton (Tag) and Nannie (Sylvie) Grayson. He graduated from Plattsburgh High School in 1943.

Willie met and married Charlene D. Williamson-Moore from St. Joseph, Missouri on December 18, 1954. They were blessed to be married for 68 wonderful years before Charlene's passing.

In August of 1958, they had a son, Ronald L. Grayson; in April of 1962 a daughter, Elizabeth M. Grayson and in July 1963, they had a third child, Michael E. Grayson.

Willie retired from the City of Kansas City, Missouri Parks and Recreation Department and was a World War II Veteran who served his country proudly with Honor.

He loved fishing, bowling, camping, traveling, and spending time with his loved ones.

Willie was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene D. Grayson; both parents, siblings, Margaret, Barbara, Faris, Harold, Delbert, and Donnie.

He leaves behind his brother, Elton (Carl) Grayson; sister, Wilmenta Grayson; his 3 children, Ronald, Elizabeth, and Michael (spouse Tammy Grayson); 8 grandchildren, Tamika Glover-Grayson, Ronald Grayson, Jr., Ronnia Grayson, Rea'chel Grayson Chontel, Collette Grayson, Shanique Grayson, Michael T. Grayson; 2 great-grandsons, Derrick Pennie Jr., and Andre Weed Jr.; 2 great-granddaughters, Alanakai and Samayah Pascual; and a host of other family and friends.
