Willie Mae Luckett, 92, of Kansas City, Missouri, died Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Grand Pavilion Nursing Home.  She was born February 24, 1926, to the union of Robert Wedgeworth and Jimmie Wedgeworth in Ennis, Texas.  She was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, James Wedgeworth and one daughter, Cheryl Luckett.

She attended Lincoln High School in Kansas City, Missouri and was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Saint Mary's Hospital until she retired.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory: one daughter, Joe Ann Smith (Darnell) of Kansas City, Missouri; Sister, Tommie Surratt; three brothers Waymon Wedgeworth of Wichita, Kansas, Robert Wedgeworth (Chung-Kyun) of Chicago, Illinois, and Harold Wedgeworth of Los Angeles, California; three grandchildren, Myra McFarland, Maurice Luckett, and Rae Reynolds (Darren); two great-grandchildren, Dylan McFarland, and Porcia Parks (Alex); nieces, nephews (Alfred Surratt) and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services for Ms. Willie Mae Luckett will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 20, 2018, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel with Daren Reynolds officiating.  Private Disposition.
