Willie Lee Murff was born January 22, 1942, in Levesque, Arkansas to the union of Freddie and Martin Murff.
Willie departed this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Research Medical Center.

He attended Wynne Childress School in Wynne, Arkansas. After high school he relocated to Kansas City, Missouri he was a popular chef for Jasper's and Hereford house restaurant. He retired from Avis after 42 years of service, January 2007. He was an avid CB'r named "226" and "Back Door Santa". He loved fishing, hunting, gardening and barbecuing in the backyard. Everyone loved his food and the secret seasonings that he used.
Willie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Jesus Is The Way Non-Denominational until his departure. He met his soul mate Brenda in 1979, and they were married for 32 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers; one son, Anthony D. Murff and one great- grandson, G'Han Butler.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted wife, Brenda J. Murff; sons, Jeff Murff (Johna) KC KS, Kendall Murff (Candace) Chula Vista, CA; daughters, LaJoyce M. Riley (William) KCMO, Adrienne Butler (Marvin) Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Nicholas, Draque, Shae, Cassaundra, Akiya (Brendan), Nakayla, Jacey, William, Angelica, G'Han, Marvin, Moncheri, Jamil; great-grandchildren, Jaden, Rheavaya, McKenzy, Ramon, Ava, Alana, Briya, Jamia, Lauryn, Kamaya, Kentreal, Emoni, Gavin, Quintin; brothers, Robert Murff (Betty) Gary, IN, Martin Murff Jr., Anderson Murff (Jerri) Seattle, WA; sisters, Searcy Amos, Little Rock, AR, Loretta Lee, Alexander, AR, Noni Harton, Marion, IN, Matrie Crutcher, Bertha Grandison (Henry), Marion Marshbanks, Earline Williams (Bishop Sammie) all of Kansas City, Missouri and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Services for Mr. Murff will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at Memorial Church Int'l. Burial Longview Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time Wednesday at the church.
