Willie Lee "Woodard" Pittman was born June 17,1935 in Big Creek, Mississippi to Albertha and William Woodard.  She was preceded by both parents, her loving husband Willie D. Pittman, Sr., one son Jimmy Pittman, one daughter Juliet Pittman, two brothers Lester Terry and Terry Westmoreland, two sisters Eloise Griffin and Jossie Mae Doss.

Willie Lee married Willie D. Pittman, Sr. on December 26,1950 and was happily married for over 50 years. They moved to Kansas City in 1953. There were six children born to this union: David, Charles, Willie D. Jr., Jeffery, Jimmy, Juliet.

Willie Lee worked at Fashion Belt Garment Factory and various jobs.

Willie Lee was a 50+ years faithful member at Second Baptist Church. She was a member of Sunday School Class No. 1, Sunday Morning Prayer Service, Second Baptist Church American Baptist Women's Ministries and Wednesday Bible Study Class. She loved attending worship services and hardly missed a Sunday service.

Willie Lee loved gardening, planting flowers.  In her younger years, she loved travelling as she vacationed with family and attending family reunions.

Willie Lee entered into eternal life on June 15,2022 at University of Kansas Medical Center.

Willie Lee leaves to cherish her memory: four sons David L. Pittman, Charles A. Pittman, Willie D. Pittman, Jr., Jeffery M. Pittman; one sister Katherine Westmoreland; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
